Kurt Mann’s Brother Bribes Frownlow Judges With Huge Goanna Barbie.

The big brother of NRL player Kurt Mann has attempted to bribe the judges of The Frownlow Medal with the offer of a barbecued goanna.

Joel Mann jumped on social media to offer the sumptuous feast to the judges of the prestigious award, in response to Kurt’s nomination for publicly posting a video of a friend throwing a goanna and making a racist comment.

The Frownlow Medal is awarded to the player whose off-field demeanour epitomises the values of the modern day footballer and draws attention to the status of footballers as role models to young Australians. It covers Australia’s four major football codes; the National Rugby League (NRL), Australian Football League (AFL), the A-League (Football) and Rugby Union’s Super Rugby competition. Kiwi international and Sydney Roosters player Shaun Kenny-Dowall won the inaugural medal in 2015, while Corey Norman from the Parramatta Eels won in 2016.

Joel opted for confrontation in his first contact with the judges.

“U would not know a thing about the bush as for racism go away u clown find a real story.”

When this had no impact on the judges, he promised a glorious banquet of one of Australia’s most famous carnivorous reptiles.

“How about u come out and experience what it’s like to live in the bush. We might even cook u up a goanna.”

While the offer set stomach’s rumbling among the judges, what Joel didn’t realise is that Kurt is not even eligible for the 2017 edition of the award, as he was nominated in 2016.

Thus, unless Kurt commits an even more outstanding off-field performance between now and the end of the year, big brother’s efforts will all have been to no avail.
